Cuban Ambassador to Ghana meets with members of the Medical Brigade in Ghana
Accra, 2 October- Members of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Ghana visited the Cuban Embassy in Accra, the Ghanaian capital, to meet with Ambassador Anette Chao Garcia and other members of the state mission in the African country.
The meeting was an opportunity to update those present on the latest developments in the largest of the Antilles and to talk about the effects that the blockade imposed on Cuba by the United States of America has caused to the island.
New members of the Cuban Medical Brigade arrive in Ghana
Twelve new members of the Cuban Medical Brigade (CMB) in Ghana arrived in the sub-Saharan country; they were received at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra by Ambassador Pedro Luis Despaigne González; Dr. Hafez Adam Taher, Head of External Health Cooperation of the Ministry of Health and by the Head of the Cuban Medical Mission in the country, Dr. Mercedes Suárez Orama.
On 2nd July, 2021, the Health Cooperation Agreement was signed in Ghana, which renewed the provision of healthcare services in Ghana by a CMB. (Cubaminrex / Embacuba Ghana)
Ghanaian graduates in Cuba hold a farewell activity to the Cuban Ambassador
The Association of Ghanaian Graduates in Cuba (ESBECAN), within the framework of the celebration of the 68th Anniversary of the Assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks, held a farewell activity to the Cuban Ambassador, Pedro L. Despaigne González and his wife, who conclude their mission in Ghana.
