Accra, November 14, 2023. - The Vice President of the Republic of Cuba, Salvador Valdés Mesa, held a meeting with the former President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, at the latter's residence.
The two men discussed, with respect and admiration for the Cuban Revolution, issues of interest to both nations, especially those related to the training of Ghanaian professionals in the largest of the Antilles.
Vice Presidents of Ghana and Cuba hold official talks.
Accra, November 14, 2023. - The Vice President of the Republic of Cuba, His Excellency Mr. Salvador Valdes Mesa, held official talks with the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Mr. Mahamudu Bawumia, at the Jubilee House this afternoon. At the meeting the local Vice President expressed “We are very happy that the Vice President of Cuba is visiting Ghana”. Bawumia emphasised that the relations between the two nations are one of deep brotherhood and friendship and are indestructible.

Accra, November 13, 2023. - The first activity on the programme for the visit of the Vice President of the Republic of Cuba, Salvador Valdes Mesa, to Ghana was a meeting with representatives of the Cuba Solidarity Campaign-Ghana. The meeting also brought together members of the Cuban resident community, graduates in Cuba, friends of parliament, businessmen and diplomatic representatives.

Accra, October 9, 2023. - The Friendship Medal was presented today at the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in the Republic of Ghana to His Excellency Mr. Kojo Owusu Gyamadua Amoo-Gottfried who was Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to the Republic of Cuba from 1982 to 1989.
