Delegation of traditional leaders visits the Embassy of Cuba

The Ambassador of Cuba to Ghana, Pedro Luis Despaigne González, received a representation of traditional leaders headed by the Odeneho Dr. Affram Brempong III, Omanhene of the Suma traditional area at the headquarters of the Embassy of Cuba.

Cuban Ambassador greets the President of Ghana for New Year

The Cuban Ambassador, Pedro L. Despaigne González, conveyed his greetings to the President of Ghana, Mr. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during the annual New Year´s Greeting Ceremony by the Diplomatic Corps to the President of the host country.

The ceremony was held at the Peduase Lodge located in the mountainous town of Aburi, in the Eastern region of the country.

Cuba rejects the pretexts of Bolivian putschist authorities to suspend diplomatic relations

Declaration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Plurinational State of Bolivia announced the decision of the putschist Government to suspend diplomatic relations with the Republic of Cuba, claming that the Cuban Government has systematically affected bilateral relations and has been hostile towards the Bolivian authorities.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba strongly rejects the unfounded allegations of Bolivia’s de facto government.

Chief Director of the Ghanaian Foreign Ministry receives the Cuban Ambassador

The Cuban Ambassador, Pedro Luis Despaigne González was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of Ghana, by its Chief Director, Ambassador Albert Ekow Yankey.

Both discussed topics of bilateral and multilateral relevance. As a result of the meeting, the coincidence of the criteria that both countries have on the current international events was reaffirmed.

The meeting was also attended by the Director of the Americas Bureau of said Ministry, Mrs. Florence Buerki Akonor, as well as the Cuba desk officer.
