Ghana attends the International Congress Pedagogy 2019
Dr. Kwabena Bempah Tandoh, Deputy Director General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), represented Ghana in the International Pedagogy Congress 2019 that took place in the Palace of the Conventions of Cuba from 4 to 8 February 2019.
The Ghanaian representative as a collateral to the activities of the event held a meeting with Dr. C Eugenio González Pérez, Director of Technical and Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education of Cuba (MINED), with whom cooperation interests in the technical and professional areas of education were advanced.
Cuba and Ghana strengthen health cooperation
The Minister for Health and Member of the Parliament of Ghana, Mr. Kwaku Agyeman Manu and the Ambassador of Cuba, Pedro Luis Despaigne González signed, in the conference room of the Ministry of Health, the new Health Cooperation Agreement between the two countries, which supports medical collaboration through the presence of a Cuban Medical Brigade.
Cuban government delegation makes a working visit to Ghana
A Cuban government delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Public Health, Dr. Marcia Cobas Ruíz made a work visit to Ghana from 20 to 22 January, 2019, where filled out an agenda that included contacts to different levels of the Ghanaian government to strengthen bilateral relations and expand economic-commercial cooperation ties.
The Cuban residents in Ghana celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution
A representation of the Cuban residents in Ghana were witness in the early morning of January 1st of the arrival of the Cuban Revolution on its sixtieth anniversary. Amid the jubilation over the six decades of victories and resistance, the Cubans and their families sang the notes of the National Anthem.
Cubans and Ghanaians celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution
The celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution was held in Ghana in Political and Cultural event organized jointly by the Association of Ghanaians Graduates in Cuba (ESBECAN) and the Cuban embassy, which also included the participation of members of the Cuban Medical Brigade, personalities and representatives of organizations integrating the campaign of solidarity with Cuba, as well as Cubans residing in the country.
