Ghanaian graduates pay tribute to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro

The Embassy of Cuba attended as an invited at the opening of the commemorative day on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the arrival to Cuba of a group of young Ghanaians. Under the motto “The role of graduates in Cuba in the socio-economic development of Ghana”, and the recognition of the legacy of the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, the Event held place at the Complex T-Havana Park.

The Executive Director of FARA expressed his admiration for Cuban internationalism in Africa

The Dr. Yemi Akimbamijo, Executive Director of the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) visited the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in Accra. He was received by the Chargé d'Affaires a.i., Julio César Sánchez Martínez. During the welcome, both highlighted the working relationship between the pan-African institution and the Cuban Diplomatic Mission.

The Dr. Akimbamijo was accompanied by a delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture of the State of Jigawa in Nigeria, headed by the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Gambo I. Aliyu.

Farewell at the Accra International Airport to the Ambassador designated of Ghana to Cuba

On the night of the last day of July, Mr. Napoleon Abdulai, who has been designated by the Government of Ghana, Ambassador to the Republic of Cuba, went on a trip to Havana.

The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Cuban Embassy, Julio César Sánchez Martínez, and a representative of the Cuban Medical Brigade (CMB) working in Ghana, consisting of the Dr. Guillermo Martínez Martínez, acting Head of the CMB, and the Dr. Yaimí Parada Lemes, coordinator of the CMB in the Greater Accra region, went to say goodbye at the "Kotoka" International Airport in Accra.
