Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection of Ghana receives Ambassador of Cuba

The Ambassador of Cuba, Pedro L. Despaigne González was received at the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection by the Minister, Mrs. Otiko Afisah Djaba, where they envisioned possible areas of cooperation .

The Cuban Ambassador explained how the incorporation of Cuban women in different sectors of society has worked, coming to be represented at the highest level of the State and the government.

Cuban way of celebration of Mother's Day in Ghana

Cubans living in Ghana, members of the Medical Brigade present in the country and the staff of the Diplomatic Mission celebrated together the coming of Mothers' Day.

The emotional activity took place in the residence of the Cuban ambassador in the country and served as an ideal framework for young descendants of Cuban mothers residing in the country to unite again and with their joy to complement the occasion. Equally, the moment was propitious to entertain a Cuban girl resident in the country, hoping to receive her offspring soon.

The Ambassador of Cuba, Pedro L. Despaigne González participated in the graduation ceremony of about 400 young people of the Crystal Galaxy College of Accra, Ghana, after invitation received from the Board Member, the traditional ruler, Nana Odidwour Baah Kokroko III.

The graduation, that took place in the Hall of Conferences of Public Servants, served as a framework for the Cuban ambassador in his words exhort the new graduates, mostly women, to strive to be good professionals and never forget the country that has seen them born.
