A representation of Ghanaian political forces, graduates in Cuba, Cuban residents, academics, and other sectors, as well as personalities such as: former Ambassador Kojo Amoo Gotfreid; Mr. Kwesi Pratt, leader of the Socialist Forum of Ghana (SFG); Mr. Augustine Saakur-Karbo, General Secretary of the Teachers and Educational Workers Union (TEWU), met at the Embassy of Cuba in Accra to commemorate the 65th Anniversary of the assault on the barracks “Moncada” from Santiago de Cuba and “Carlos Manuel de Céspedes” from Bayamo.
Farewell to the Cuban Medical Brigade at the Accra Airport
A representative of the Embassy of Cuba in Ghana went to the Kotoka International Airport in Accra to bid farewell to the members of the Cuban Medical Brigade, who traveled to Cuba to enjoy their vacations.
The group of Cuban specialists has worked during one year of intense work in five of the ten regions in which Ghana is divided, contributing to the improvement of health indicators in that country. In the sustained exchange the doctors made references to the complex situations to which they had to face under the guiding principle of safeguarding human lives.

The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Cuba to Ghana, Julio César Sánchez Martínez, participated in an activity of solidarity with the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Jorge Arreaza and organized by the Socialist Forum of Ghana, at its headquarters of the Freedom Center.
