The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Cuban Embassy ratified Cuba's historical ties with Africa
The Charge d'Affaires a.i. from the Embassy of Cuba, Julio César Sánchez, participated as Speaker in the Heritage and Cultural Society of Africa Event (HACSA). He was part of the International Panel dedicated to the impact of transatlantic trafficking and slavery in Liberia, Nigeria, Cameroon and Cuba.
Commemorate in Accra the 66th Anniversary of the National Rebellion Day
A representation of the organizations and personalities that make up the Solidarity Movement with Cuba in Ghana participated in the political-cultural activity commemorating the 66th Anniversary of the actions of July 26. Among the attendees were: the acting National Chairman of the Convention People's Party (CPP), Hajia Hamdatu Ibrahim; the presidential candidate for that party in the 2016 elections, Dr. Ivor Kobina Greenstreet; the Professor Albie Walls, leader of the All African People’s Revolutionary Party (A-APRP).
Díaz-Canel received the Vice President of Ghana
The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, received this morning the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, who is making an official visit to our country.
In a cordial atmosphere they reviewed the historical and fraternal relations that unite the two countries and reiterated their willingness to promote political ties, solidarity and cooperation. They also exchanged on topics of the international agenda.
Vice President of the Republic of Ghana received by the Cuban Vice President Inés María Chapman
The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was received at the Palace of the Revolution by the Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Inés María Chapman.
During the talks, both Vice-Presidents ratified the good state of bilateral relations and the interest to continue deepening them.
