Cuba congratulates Ghana on the 62nd Anniversary of its independence

The President of the Councils of State and Ministers of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, sent congratulations to the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E, Mr. Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo, on the occasion of the arrival of that African country to the 62nd Anniversary of its independence.

In the same vein, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, congratulated the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Mrs. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey.

Ghana and Cuba ratify international law as the basis for relations between States

The Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana, Alhaji Mohammad Habibu Tijani, received at the Ministry headquarters the Ambassador of Cuba, Pedro Luis Despaigne González.

The Deputy Minister highlighted the historic relationship between Ghana and Cuba, and recalled the work carried out by Cuban health collaborators in his country, and especially in Yendi, his hometown.

Solidarity support in Ghana to the constitutional government of Venezuela

A representation of the Ghanaian graduates in Cuba organized a Press Conference at the Ghana International Press Center, in which the aggression plan orchestrated by the United States government against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela was denounced.

The Ambassadors/High Commissioner of Venezuela, South Africa, Angola and Cuba, Mrs. Belén Teresa Orsini Pic, Mrs. Lulu Xingwana, Mr. Augusto da Silva, and Pedro Luis Despaigne González, respectively, were present at the Conference.

Ghana attends the International Congress Pedagogy 2019

Dr. Kwabena Bempah Tandoh, Deputy Director General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), represented Ghana in the International Pedagogy Congress 2019 that took place in the Palace of the Conventions of Cuba from 4 to 8 February 2019.

The Ghanaian representative as a collateral to the activities of the event held a meeting with Dr. C Eugenio González Pérez, Director of Technical and Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education of Cuba (MINED), with whom cooperation interests in the technical and professional areas of education were advanced.
