Minister of Food and Agriculture of Ghana receives Cuba´s ambassador

The Ambassador of Cuba, Pedro Luis Despaigne González, was received by the Minister of Food and Agriculture of Ghana and member of Parliament, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, in his office.

Dr. Afriyie Akoto, after highlighting the historical-cultural ties that unite Ghana and Cuba, explained the essential elements of the agricultural policy of the government of President Nana Akufo-Addo, and synthesized in the Program "planting for food and jobs". The Minister also expressed the interest of his government to strengthen cooperation with Cuba in the area of food production.

Cubans living in Ghana in their 6th National Meeting reiterate their commitment to the Homeland and the rejection of the blockade

Cubans living in Ghana held their 6th National Meeting at the T-Havana Parks, which has become an emblematic place for the Cuban presence in this country.

The nearly 50 participants expressed their support for the sovereign decision of the Cuban people to build their own political system, and explicitly condemned the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the US against Cuba for more than five decades.

The Ambassador of Cuba exposes negative effects of blockade on Pan African Television Channel

The Ambassador of Cuba to Ghana, Pedro Luis Despaigne González was interviewed for the Pan African Television Channel´s Hot News Program.

In the interview, led by the journalist Eugene Edem Buzady, the Ambassador addressed a wide range of issues that had as an articulating axis the negative effects of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the US for more than five decades to the Cuban population. In his analysis he demonstrated that the blockade is a tool used to destroy the Cuban Revolution.
