The Dr. Yemi Akimbamijo, Executive Director of the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) visited the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in Accra. He was received by the Chargé d'Affaires a.i., Julio César Sánchez Martínez. During the welcome, both highlighted the working relationship between the pan-African institution and the Cuban Diplomatic Mission.
The Dr. Akimbamijo was accompanied by a delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture of the State of Jigawa in Nigeria, headed by the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Gambo I. Aliyu.

The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Cuban Embassy, Julio César Sánchez Martínez, and a representative of the Cuban Medical Brigade (CMB) working in Ghana, consisting of the Dr. Guillermo Martínez Martínez, acting Head of the CMB, and the Dr. Yaimí Parada Lemes, coordinator of the CMB in the Greater Accra region, went to say goodbye at the "Kotoka" International Airport in Accra.
Ambassador Napoleon Abdulai ratifies historic ties between Ghana and Cuba
Mr. Napoleon Abdulai, who recently received from President Nana Akufo-Addo the Letters that accredit him as head of the Diplomatic Mission of Ghana in Havana, visited the Cuban Embassy in Accra, accompanied by his wife.
Mr. Abdulai, who expressed his satisfaction with the task assigned by his President, was received by the Chargé d'Affaires a.i., Julio César Sánchez. Both diplomats addressed issues related to the historical relations between Ghana and Cuba, and especially about the need to strengthen the bilateral cooperation.

The Staff of the Cuban Embassy participated in the mega-concert "African Voices for Palestine" organized by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign in Ghana, the Ghana Socialist Forum (GSF) and the Embassy of Palestine.
For more than five hours, the public, mostly young, enjoyed the performances of famous Ghanaian musicians and other countries of the continent, who with their art expressed their support for the Palestinian people.
