Be good professionals and always think in your country ... exhortation of Cuban ambassador to graduates of the Crystal Galaxy College
The Ambassador of Cuba, Pedro L. Despaigne González participated in the graduation ceremony of about 400 young people of the Crystal Galaxy College of Accra, Ghana, after invitation received from the Board Member, the traditional ruler, Nana Odidwour Baah Kokroko III.
The graduation, that took place in the Hall of Conferences of Public Servants, served as a framework for the Cuban ambassador in his words exhort the new graduates, mostly women, to strive to be good professionals and never forget the country that has seen them born.
Fraternal meeting with Ghanaian trade unionists who will participate in May Day in Cuba
The Ambassador of Cuba, Pedro L. Despaigne González held a fraternal meeting with members of the Trade Union Congress (TUC-Ghana), who will be part of the XIII edition of the May Day International Brigade, to celebrate the International Workers' Day, convened by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP).
Fraternal meeting with Ghanaian union leaders
Cuban Ambassador Pedro L. Despaigne González received the members of the Executive Committee of the Trades Union Congress of Ghana (TUC) at the Cuban residence, with whom he had a fraternal meeting.
The TUC´s Secretary General, Dr. Anthony Yaw Baah acknowledged the good relations existing with the Cuban embassy, which has extended positively to the Caribbean island.
Member of the Ghana Parliament´s Committee on Foreign Affairs ratifies ties with Cuba
The Ambassador of Cuba, Pedro Luis Despaigne González received Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, member of the Foreign Affairs Committee in Ghana´s Parliament for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The Cuban Ambassador highlighted Cuba's commitment to Ghana, and the interest in strengthening relations between the Parliaments of both countries. He also thanked the parliamentarian for his attendance at the Act of Solidarity with Cuba during the visit to Ghana of the Vice President of the Council of State, Mercedes López Acea.
