Guyana, Georgetown. April 26th, 2023. The Ambassador of Cuba to Guyana, Jorge Francisco Soberón Luis, attended a meeting sponsored by His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, with the distinguished presence of Honorable Ministers and senior officials. During the meeting, the prospects for bilateral relations were reviewed.

The Ambassador of Cuba to Guyana, Jorge F. Soberon Luis, met with the Honourable Dr. Ashni Singh, Senior Minister in the Office of the President with responsibility for Finance. During the meeting, the potential for further development of relations between Guyana and Cuba was assessed.
Fruitful meeting between the Ambassador of Cuba and the Member of Parliament and President of the National Assembly of Guyana

During the meeting, the cooperation relations between Cuba and Guyana were ratified for the benefit of the people of both countries.

The meeting was fruitful and with ample possibilities for exchanges between the UG and Cuba.

The Ambassador of Cuba to Guyana, Jorge Francisco Soberón Luis, paid a courtesy call to the Honourable Minister of Public Services of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, Savitri Sonia Parag. During the meeting, an exchange was made on the collaboration between both countries for the continuous development of human resources in public services. Both parties recognized the fruitful historical cooperation between Guyana and Cuba in this area.
