Dr. Shashi Tharoor, member of the Lok Sabha of the Indian Parliament received the Ambassador of Cuba, Alejandro Simancas, Marin, during their stay in the state of Kerala.
Dr. Shashi Tharoor represents this southern Indian state in the legislature on behalf of the National Congress Party and chairs the Parliamentary Committee on Fertilizers and Commodities.

Cuba participates in "Global Investors Summit 2023" in the Indian city of Indore.
The official of the Cuban Embassy in India, Abel Aballe Despaigne, participated in the 7th edition of the "Global Investment Summit 2023", held in Indore, a city in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The event was virtually inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and presided over by the Chief Minister of that state, Shivraj Singh Chouhan. It was also attended by more than 400 representatives of international industry associations.
