Poems, flowers, postcards and allegorical messages amused an audience composed of directives of the Jamaica-Cuba Solidarity Movement, the Association of Cuban Residents in Jamaica, and representatives of the Cuban diplomatic mission.

Jamaica will be present at the Havana World Music Festival

The two young men who will represent Jamaica in the VI edition of the Havana World Festival Music.

Kingston, Jamaica, 26 February 2019. Ms. Olayinka Jacobs-Bonnick, Director of the British Council Caribbean introduced the Ambassador of Cuba in Jamaica, Mrs. Inés Fors Fernández, to the two young men who will attend, on behalf of the Caribbean island, the VI edition of the Havana World Festival Music, to be held in Havana, between March 21 and 23 this year.

The young men study at the Alpha Institute, a Jamaican institution specializing in artistic education, and are part of the Backstage to the Future program sponsored by the British Council.
