The Ambassador of Cuba to Jamaica, H.E Mrs. Inés Fors Fernández, gave a press conference on the occasion of the presentation of the draft Resolution "Need to end the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America on Cuba" before the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

This date marks the 39th anniversary of the assassination in New York City of the Cuban diplomat Félix García Rodríguez, an official of our mission to the UN, by members of the counterrevolutionary group Omega 7.
