Cuban Ambassador meets with the presidents of both chambers of the Jamaican Parliament
Kingston, Jamaica, 13 May 2019. The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, H.E. Mrs. Inés Fors Fernández, was received today at the headquarters of the Parliament of Jamaica by the Honorable Thomas Tavares-Finson, QC, JP, President of the Senate, and Pearnel Charles, MP, President of the House of Representatives.
In a cordial atmosphere, the Cuban diplomat and the Jamaican parliamentary leaders demonstrated the close bonds of friendship and cooperation between Cuba and Jamaica and exchanged on various topics of regional and international bilateral interest.
Jamaican students graduated in Cuba express their solidarity towards the island
Kingston, Jamaica, 12 May 2019. More than fifty Jamaicans, Latin Americans and Africans graduated in Cuba, representing the more than one thousand who reside in Jamaica, expressed their solidarity with the Largest Island of the Antilles last Saturday, in an evening of fraternization convened by the Association of Jamaican Graduates from Cuban Universities, residing in this sister nation.
