Cuba was present in the Spanish Immersion Day
Kingston, Jamaica, 3 April 2019. The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Mrs. Inés Fors Fernández, attended the Spanish Immersion Day, held at the Tom Redcam public library in the capital of Jamaica.
The Honourable Alando Terrelonge, MP, Minister of State in the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information, had a brief exchange of views with the Cuban diplomat and took the opportunity to thank Cuba for its cooperation in the educational sector in Jamaica.

Kingston, Jamaica, 29 March 2019. The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Inés Fors Fernández, visited the headquarters of the The National Export-Import Bank of Jamaica (EXIM Bank), where she met with Mrs. Lisa Bell, its Managing Director.
In the cordial meeting, both sides discussed the growing interest of Jamaican and Cuban companies in doing business, and the importance of creating and strengthening financial mechanisms that facilitate exports in both directions.

The Embassy of Cuba in Kingston celebrates the International Women's Day
Kingston, Jamaica, 8 March 2019. In a simple but cordial ceremony, the Embassy of Cuba was the venue for the celebration of International Women's Day.
Poems, flowers, postcards and allegorical messages amused an audience composed of directives of the Jamaica-Cuba Solidarity Movement, the Association of Cuban Residents in Jamaica, and representatives of the Cuban diplomatic mission.
