Jamaican and Cuban students pay homage to the Apostle.

Kingston, 17 May 2024. Convened by the Embassy of Cuba in Jamaica, the Cuban Educational Brigade and the Simon Bolivar Cultural Centre, a tribute to our National Hero took place on the occasion of the 129th anniversary of his fall in battle. The event was attended by students and professors from schools in the Kingston, Portmore and St. Thomas regions.

Delegation of the AGR of Cuba participates in the XXVI Regional Conference of Directors General of Customs of the Americas and the Caribbean

Montego Bay, May 16, 2024 - A Cuban delegation headed by the First Deputy Chief of the General Customs of the Republic of Cuba (AGR), Wiliam Pérez González, participated in the XXVI Regional Conference of Directors General of Customs of the Americas and the Caribbean and the IV Joint Forum Customs-Regional Private Sector Group of the Americas and the Caribbean, which was held in this Jamaican city from 13 to 15 May.

The United States has to take Cuba, once and for all, out of the list of states allegedly sponsoring terrorism

Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

According to U.S. official media reports, on 15 May 2024, the country’s State Secretary submitted to the Congress one more of the arbitrary reports that normally describe countries without any international mandate or recorgnition. This time, he listed four countries who allegedly “do not fully cooperate with the United States antiterrorist efforts for the 2023 calendar year.” As opposed to what has happened in recent years, the list does not slanderously include Cuba among such countries.
