STATEMENT OF THE ASSOCIATION OF CUBANS RESIDENT IN JAMAICA "ANTONIO MACEO".

On May 1st, the people of Cuba will celebrate International Workers' Day, in the midst of a difficult and serious economic and social situation, caused mainly by the negative impact of 63 years of the criminal and illegal commercial, economic and financial blockade imposed by the government of the United States of America.

New health collaborators arrive to Jamaica.

Kingston, 27 April 2024. Yesterday afternoon, 14 health professionals arrived at Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston to join the Cuban Medical Brigade in Jamaica.

The arrival of the new cooperants contributes to the reaffirmation of the historical relations of cooperation in health between Cuba and Jamaica, initiated in 1977 and ratified by the Bilateral Technical Assistance Agreement.

63rd anniversary of the victory of Playa Girón celebrated in Jamaica

Kingston, 18 April 2024. Diplomats and collaborators of the Cuban State Mission in Jamaica, graduates in Cuba, members of political parties, the Association of Cuban Residents in Jamaica "Antonio Maceo" (ACRJ), the Solidarity Movement and youth organizations and social movements gathered at the Embassy of Cuba in Jamaica to commemorate the 63rd anniversary of the victory of Playa Giron, the first defeat of Yankee imperialism in America.
