Jamaica gets a verbal 'taste' of Cuban tourism

Dignitaries, tourism industry officials and other interested parties were given a comprehensive 'tour' of what Cuba's tourism has to offer during the recent launch of tourism products for the north Caribbean island and multi-destinations at AC Hotel Kingston in St Andrew.
Ambassador of Cuba visits the Institute of Jamaica
Kingston, 15 March 2023. Ambassador of Cuba to Jamaica, Fermín Quiñones Sánchez, paid a visit to the Institute of Jamaica, during which he held a meeting with Mr. Leslie Harrow, Executive Director of the Institute and directors of institutions linked to the work of this centre.
Cubans living in Jamaica join in launch of Destination Cuba and Multidestination 2023 campaign
Kingston, 9 March 2023. Cubans living in Jamaica participated in the launch of the Destination Cuba and Multidestination 2023 campaign, organised by the Caribbean and Latin Travel agency and the Cuban Embassy in Jamaica.
Tour operators, promoters of health tourism and immersion travel, designers of traditional Cuban clothing, photographers and members of the musical group "Andy Son" exchanged with those attending the event. They highlighted the identity elements of Cuban culture and its links with Jamaican culture.

Members of the Association of Cuban Residents in Jamaica "Antonio Maceo" (ACRJ) and members of the Cuba Solidarity Movement gathered at the Antonio Maceo statue in the Jamaican Heroes Park to denounce the impact of the US economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba.
