Liberia's Minister of Energy and Mines receives Cuban ambassador

The Honorable Mr. Wilmot J.M. Paye received the Cuban Ambassador, Dr. Indira López Arguelles, to whom he reiterated Liberia's unwavering and sustained support for Cuba in its fight against the U.S. economic, commercial, and financial blockade. At the same time, the Ambassador emphasized Cuba's determination to promote cooperative ties with the African nation.

The new Liberian scholarship candidates visit the Cuban Embassy to study in Havana.

Cuban Ambassador Dr. Indira López Arguelles welcomed the young women selected to study medicine in Cuba. They visited the embassy accompanied by the First Secretary of the Liberian Foreign Ministry, Mr. Aaron Guanue.

The candidates learned about Cuba, part of its history, and the characteristics of their studies in general, and they are very excited about the new chapter that is opening in their lives.

Cuban Ambassador pays tribute to His Holiness the Pope, Francis

Representing the Cuban people and government, the Cuban Ambassador to Liberia, Dr. Indira López Arguelles, signed the book of condolences opened at the Nunciature in this city. She also attended the Mass held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, which brought together various Christian representatives, the Spiritual Council of Liberia, political leaders, government officials, and the diplomatic and consular corps present in this capital.
