First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Liberia receives Cuban Head of Mission.
Monrovia, October 30, 2023 - In the morning, the Head of Mission Mercedes Martinez Herrera was received at the headquarters of the Liberian Foreign Ministry by First Deputy Foreign Minister Henry Fahnbulleh.
In a fraternal atmosphere, both parties confirmed the good state of diplomatic ties and both diplomats discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral interest for both nations.

The economic, commercial and financial blockade is the central element that has defined U.S. policy toward Cuba for more than six decades. The effects of this undeclared war against the economy, society, daily life and dreams of progress of more than 11 million Cubans have not ceased for a single day.
More than 80% of the current Cuban population has only known a Cuba with a blockade.

First medical graduates from Cuba already in Liberia.
Monrovia, September 29, 2023.- The members of the Cuban Diplomatic Mission in Liberia lived an afternoon of luxury and pride when they received the special visit of the first two Liberians graduated in Cuba in the specialty of Medicine, fruit of the bilateral relations Cuba-Liberia, who were received with a special welcome by the Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.
