Cuban Head of Mission received by Assistant Minister for American Affairs of the Liberian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Monrovia, October 14, 2022.- This morning, Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Liberia by the Assistant Minister for American Affairs, Hon. Maxwell P. Vah, with whom she held a fraternal meeting.
The occasion was propitious for the two diplomats to exchange views on multilateral and global issues, and to reaffirm the interest of both governments to continue strengthening bilateral relations.

Monrovia, October 5, 2022 - In order to discuss issues of interest to both nations, the Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera, held a meeting with the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Liberia, Honorable Henry B. Fahnbulleh.
The meeting took place at the Cuban Embassy in Monrovia and was held in a fraternal atmosphere of mutual respect.

Monrovia, October 3, 2022 - At the invitation of the Office of the President, Cuban Chief of Mission in Liberia Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera attended the solemn ceremony where President George Weah commissioned the new Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Liberia Her Honor Sie A-Nyene Gyapay Youh.
Gyapay Youh is the third woman to hold the highest position in the judiciary in the 175-year history of the founding of the Republic of Liberia.
