The Cuban Embassy participates in the adoption of the ASEAN Community's Vision 2045
Kuala Lumpur, May 26, 2025. Within the framework of the 46th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit, it was an interesting experience for Cuban diplomatic representatives in this city, to participate in the adoption of the ASEAN Community's Declaration or Vision for 2045, entitled "Our Shared Future."
Tribute to José Martí in the Philippines
Manila, May 16, 2015. At the José Martí monument in Manila, Philippines, the solidarity friends of the Philippines-Cuba Friendship Society (PCFS), along with Cuban Ambassador Yadira Ledesma Hernández, paid tribute to Cuba's national hero and laid a wreath, on the eve of the commemoration of the 130th anniversary of the death in combat of this great Cuban intellectual and patriot.
The monument is a sculpture by Cuban artist Lescay, which was donated to the city on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Apostle's birth.
Cuban Ambassador Presents Letters of Credence to the Republic of the Philippines
Manila, May 15, 2025. In a solemn ceremony held at Malacañang Palace, Cuban Ambassador Yadira Ledesma Hernández presented to the President, His Excellency Mr. Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., the Letters of Credence accrediting her as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of the Philippines.
Following the official ceremony of the presentation of the Letters of Credence, attended by the Secretary for Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Mr. Enrique A. Manalo, a wreath was laid to the Philippine national hero, José Rizal.

Manila, May 15, 2025. Cuban Ambassador Yadira Ledesma Hernández was received by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, His Excellency Mr. Enrique A. Manalo, on the occasion of her visit to the country.
The two representatives held a fruitful exchange on strengthening bilateral relations.
They also discussed potential areas for exploring cooperation between the Philippines and Cuba in agriculture, health, and education, among others.
