Kuala Lumpur, January 28, 2026. As a tribute from the Cuban Embassy in Malaysia to the National Hero of Cuba on the 173rd anniversary of his birth, excerpts from José Martí's pro-independence, anti-imperialist, and literary thought, translated into Malay, were published.
The enduring relevance of Martí's ideals and legacy deserve to be shared with younger generations.

Kuala Lumpur, January 20, 2026. The Cuban Ambassador to Malaysia, Yadira Ledesma Hernández, held a fruitful exchange with the Undersecretary of Americas Division of the Department of Bilateral Affairs, Ambassador Nur Azman Rahim, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
After reaffirming the close ties of friendship between Malaysia and Cuba, they discussed global issues of mutual interest and efforts to strengthen bilateral relations.
