Malaysia and Cuba Exchange Experiences in the Pharmaceutical Industry
Kuala Lumpur, December 15, 2025. Cuban Ambassador Yadira Ledesma Hernández held a fruitful exchange with Duopharma Biotech, a leading pharmaceutical company in Malaysia.
The occasion provided an opportunity to discuss Duopharma's wide range of products and infrastructure, as well as the latest pharmaceutical and biotechnological developments from Cuban Scientific Centers and the 48 companies that comprise the BIOCUBAFARMA ecosystem, with their high-tech medicines, equipment, and services.
Cuban Embassy participates in Forum for Human Rights Day held in Malaysia.
Kuala Lumpur, December 10, 2025. Cuban Ambassador Yadira Ledesma H. participated in the Human Rights Day Forum alongside the diplomatic corps and representatives of the government and civil society in Malaysia.
The meeting provided an opportunity to learn about the progress made by the National Human Rights Commission in the country and the Legal Affairs Division of the Prime Minister's Office, the work of the United Nations and UNICEF in this area in the region, and the Malaysian government's reforms on this important issue.
Cuban Embassy Participates in Debate on Women's Empowerment in Foreign Policy

The “Mexican Feminist Foreign Policy” was presented, and participants exchanged views on their national policies promoting women's rights.

The occasion provided an opportunity to exchange information on the results of the events organized in the second half of the year by the Latin American and Caribbean Embassies in Malaysia, namely: the 23rd Latin American Film Festival and the 16th Latin Cultural Festival in Kuala Lumpur.
Both events showcase the diversity and cultural richness of the Latin American region.
