Doha, Qatar. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the State of Qatar, His Excellency Mr. José Enrique Enríquez Rodríguez, held a fruitful meeting with the General Manager of Katara Cultural Village, His Excellency Prof. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti.
During the meeting, held at the heart of the iconic Katara Cultural Village, both dignitaries discussed broad opportunities to continue building stronger bridges of friendship, art, and cultural diplomacy between both nations.

Doha, Qatar — August 2026 — Competing in the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Boys' U17 World Championship held in Doha from August 19 to 29, Cuba's youth national team concluded its participation in the group stage. Although victory eluded the team this time around, competing on this elite stage provided invaluable growth for the young prospects of Cuban volleyball.
