The Kingdom of Cambodia and the Republic of Cuba will commemorate the 60 years of their diplomatic relations this year by organising various activities ranging from cultural exchange to photo exhibition. The information was shared by H.E. Ms. Liurka Rodriguez Barrios, newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Cambodia, during her meeting with Director General of the Agence Kampuchea Presse (AKP), H.E. Mrs. Sokmom Nimul, at the AKP’s headquarters in Phnom Penh this morning.
The Cuban Ambassador, Pedro Luis Despaigne González was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of Ghana, by its Chief Director, Ambassador Albert Ekow Yankey.
Both discussed topics of bilateral and multilateral relevance. As a result of the meeting, the coincidence of the criteria that both countries have on the current international events was reaffirmed.
The meeting was also attended by the Director of the Americas Bureau of said Ministry, Mrs. Florence Buerki Akonor, as well as the Cuba desk officer.
Monrovia, January 24, 2020 - Today in the afternoon, the welcoming activity for the new Heads of Diplomatic Missions in Liberia took place.
The reception was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Liberia.
At the end of the ceremony the newly appointed diplomats had the opportunity to greet the Foreign Minister and other Ministers attending the event.

The Ambassador Agree of Cuba in the Kingdom of Denmark, Roger López García, held a working dialogue with the Director of Multilateral Cooperation and Climate Change, Henriette Ellermann-Kingombe. The Head of the United Nations Section and Multilateral Policy Petern Dynes Moller participated in the same meeting.
The occasion was conducive to a brief assessment of Cuba's work in its cooperation with the agencies of the United Nations system and the commitments proposed by the Greater Antilles with the programs of UNDP, UNFPA, and UNICEF.
Havana, january 23, 2020.- The President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, this Wednesday held a meeting with the diplomatic corps accredited in our country.
Also participating in the exchange were other principal government authorities and representatives of national institutions.
Cuba maintains diplomatic relations with 197 states and international entities, while 116 countries have embassies here, along with six representations of international organizations.
