Kingston, Jamaica, 4 November 2019. William James Charles Hutchinson, Minister without portfolio of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries of Jamaica leads the delegation of his country participating in the International Fair of Havana (FIHAV) 2019, which will take place in the Cuban capital from 4 to 8 November.
The Jamaican minister is accompanied by executives and officials from the Agency for the Promotion of Trade and Investment of Jamaica (JAMPRO) and representatives of companies of the Caribbean nation.
The Ambassador of Cuba in Egypt Tania Aguiar Fernández and Third Secretary Jorge Mazón Rodriguez gave a lecture about "The impact of the economic blockade of the United States against Cuba" to the students and teachers of the Institute of Economy and the Faculties of Political Sciences and Languages of the University of Sciences and Culture of October 6th.
Havana, Nov 4 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Monday inaugurated the 37th edition of the Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2019), attended by more than 4,000 representatives from nearly 60 countries.
In his opening remarks, Foreign Trade and Investment Minister Rodrigo Malmierca stressed that the event takes place in very complex circumstances due to the tightening of the United States economic, commercial and financial blockade against the island.
