The Ambassador of Cuba in Egypt Tania Aguiar Fernández took part in the annual conferece of the Egypt's National Council of Women invited by Dr. Maya Morsy, President of the Council, and by Mrs. Suzy Shaker, Egyptian Chancellor Sameh Shoukry's wife, who was present at the event.

The occasion was propitious to the dialogue on the achievements of women in Cuba and their presence in all political and social spaces.

The Ambassador Pedro Luis Despaigne González received in the Embassy of Cuba a delegation from the University Students’ Association of Ghana (USAG), headed by its President, Mr. Paul Abrokwa.

BANGKOK, November 27, 2019.- At the Cuban Embassy in Thailand, an emotional tribute to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz took place three years after his physical disappearance on 25 November 2016.

As part of the gathering, historical and contemporary information was provided on the work of the Cuban Revolution, its principles, solidarity and internationalism. The validity of the revolutionary ideas of the Commander in Chief was highlighted.

Ottawa, November 27, 2019.- A sectoral delegation of industry and energy, headed by Mr. Yuri Viamontes, Deputy Minister of Energy and Mines of Cuba, visits Canada between November 25 and 29, 2019. The delegation carries out an intensive work program in the provinces of Ontario and Quebec.

The Cuban delegation held meetings with several local companies interested in developing joint ventures, high-level officials from the Ministries of Economy, Science and Innovation and International Relations, Quebec Investment and the provincial government.

The president of the Turkmenistan Boxing Federation, Aliasker Bashirov and the Cuban ambassador to this Central Asian nation, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, valued the collaboration between the two countries.

The conversations took place in the Olympic Village of the Turkmen capital, where other managers of this sports discipline also attended.

The Cuban diplomat expressed the importance of the meeting and his pleasure for the interest shown by the Turkmen side to boost contacts between the two nations.

Havana, Nov 26 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez denounced this Tuesday that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo calls on the US Embassy in Havana to "intervene in the internal affairs of a sovereign country that will not allow it."

On Twitter, the head of Foreign Affairs described the actions of the US diplomatic mission in Cuba, endorsed by Pompeo, as illegal.

These activities seek to undermine the Cuban constitutional order, violate the Vienna Convention, the agreement to restore relations and Cuban and US laws, Rodriguez added on the social network.

The rector of the Turkmenistan State University, Bayramgul Orazdurdiyeva, showed interest in collaborating with Cuban institutions during a meeting with the Cuban ambassador to this Central Asian nation, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo.

The work meeting held at the university headquarters, allowed, according to the Cuban diplomat, to evaluate collaborative projects and strengthen the relations of friendship between the two nations.
