The Cuban Embassy participated in the International Workshop “Ho Chi Minh´s legacy for Vietnamese cultural diplomacy”, held this October 29 in the central province of Nghe An, where venerable Uncle Ho was born.

The Vieux Fort Primary School was the venue this occasion for the activity in observance of the Day of Cuban Culture, organized by the Constituency Council and the Humanistic Solidarity Association (Saint Lucia – Cuba). The activity was presided over by the Cuban Ambassador, Alejandro Simancas, who addressed the origin of the Day of Culture and explained that October 20th,1868, the Cuban national anthem was sang for the first time.

On Friday 25, as part of the day for Cuban Culture, the Habanos Night was held at SG Suites Cambridge in Harare. The meeting between both officials was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health of Ghana, at which time the progress of the Health Cooperation Agreement between the two institutions was analyzed, with the determination to continue its execution, as well as to strengthen it.
