Dublin, October 21, 2019. The Irish President, Michael Higgins, officially received in his residence our President Miguel Díaz-Canel and the delegation that accompanies him, a close and gentle meeting, beyond all formality.
At the gates of the Official Residence of the President of Ireland, known as Áras an Uachtarain and located north of the city, last Monday the Cuban flag was raised, as a detail of the prelude to the official reception.
Namibia, October 27th, 2019- The VIII National Meeting of Cuban Residents in Namibia was held on last Saturday, October 26th, at the Residence of the Ambassador of Cuba in this African country. The meeting was chaired by the head of the Cuban Diplomatic Mission, Sidenio Acosta, and Rafael Ramírez, president of the “Patria” Association, an organization that brings together Cubans living in this nation.

New teachers recalled important moments in Cuban history and referred to the humanist, internationalist and ethical vocation that has characterizefd, for decades, the work of Cuban collaborators in the most remote places on the planet.
Havana, 25 October 2019. Cuba and the African countries are united by historical ties which have always been ruled by mutual solidarity and collaboration. In the case of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), we have very positive relations with its 16 Member States and within its sub regional organization where we have an accredited Ambassador.
The new executive of the Saint Lucia National Youth Council, headed by its President Nyus Alfred, received last wedenesday the Ambassador of Cuba, Alejandro Simancas. At the meeting held at the Council’s Office, the Cuban diplomat explained to them the excellent state of bilateral relations, based on genuine and sincere friendship between the two peoples. He conveyed to them the will of the Cuban Government to continue strengthening ties and commented on the symbolism of this year, when we celebrated 40 years of establishing diplomatic relations.
The Latin American News Agency Prensa Latina and the Azeri news agency Azertac signed a cooperation and exchange agreement at a ceremony in the headquarters of the local media organization in this capital on Saturday.
Chief Editor Orlando Oramas penned the accord on behalf of Prensa Latina President Luis Enrique Gonzalez, while Azertac Board President Aslan Aslanov represented the Azeri news agency.
