تكشف وزارة العلاقات الخارجية النقاب وتدين بشدة عدوان حكومة الولايات المتحدة الأخير على كوبا من خلال برنامجٍ "للوكالة الأمريكية للتنمية الدولية" (USAID) مخصّص لتمويل تحركات والحصول على معلومات هدف تشويه وتعطيل التعاون الدّولي الذي تقدّمه كوبا بمجال الصحّة في عشرات البلدان ويستفيد منه ملايين الأشخاص. إنه مسعىً جديد يضاف إلى الضغوط الفظة التي تمارَس على عدة حكومات من أجل عرقلة التعاون وإلى محاولات سابقة ذات أهداف مماثلة، كالبرنامج الخاص "بارولي" الساعي لنهب الموارد البشريّة المؤهَّلة في كوبا.

Press Release: Illinois Cuba Working Group Calls for Continued Collaboration with Cuban Officials

DECATUR, ILL. – August 28, 2019 – Today the Illinois Cuba Working Group welcomed Rodney Gonzalez, the commercial attaché for the Cuban Embassy in Washington, D.C, to the Farm Progress Show. The purpose of his visit was to meet with leaders in agriculture, including farmers, to explore opportunities between Illinois and Cuba.

Illinois has a long relationship of partnering with Cuba. For more than 20 years, Illinois business and civic leaders have been working with Cuban officials to support trade between the countries.

Cuba and Canada hold the IV Round of Migratory Talks.

Ottawa, August 29, 2019.- On August 28 and 29, 2019, the IV Round of Talks on Migration between Cuba and Canada was held in Ottawa, chaired by Ernesto Soberón Guzmán, General Director of Consular Affairs and Cuban Residents Abroad of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, and Kathy Thompson, Vice-president of the Canada Border Service Agency.

During the working sessions, the migration flow between Cuba and Canada was assessed and negotiations continued in view of the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on Migratory matters.

The Cuban Ambassador to Jamaica received the Director of the UNESCO Regional Office for Culture

Dr. Katherine Muller-Marin, director of the UNESCO Regional Office for Culture in Latin America and the Caribbean, paid a courtesy call on the Cuban Ambassador to Jamaica, H.E Mrs. Ines Fors Fernández.

Activity of solidarity with Cuba at the University of Abuja

NIGERIA, August 29, 2019. An act of solidarity with Cuba was held, within the framework of the activities scheduled for the celebration in Nigeria of the VI Continental Meeting of Solidarity with our country and reminder of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations.

It took place in the Theater of the Faculty of Management Sciences and more than 200 people attended, including students, teachers and other guests.
