The President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, received on March 12th, 2019, the Letters of Credence accrediting the Ambassador of Cuba, Tania Aguiar Fernández, as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Egypt.

The Revolutionary Government strongly condemns the sabotage perpetrated against the power supply system in Venezuela, which is a terrorist action intended to harm the defenseless population of an entire nation and turn it into a hostage of the non-conventional war launched by the government of the United States against the legitimate government headed by comrade Nicolás Maduro Moros and the civic and military union of the Bolivarian and Chavista people.

Continuing this week of Cuban culture in Zimbabwe on March 12, Michel Herrera and his Young Jazz band performed at the 7 Arts Theatre in Avondale, Harare. The young Cuban outstanding saxophonist gave an excellent concert with free admission, in which he played some of his best known hits. The last part of the presentation was Cuban popular dance music, with themes known and celebrated by the audience.    

The Ambassador of Cuba in Egypt, Tania Aguiar Fernández, held a meeting with the President of the Tagammu Party, Sayed Abdelall, where they reviewed the history of the Party and the historical relationship between the leader and founder of the party, Khaled Mohiuddin, and the leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz. In addition, the challenges of the world's progressive forces were addressed and the necessity of sharing the experiences learned.

The Ambassador of Cuba to Ghana, Pedro Luis Despaigne González, received a delegation of traditional rulers at the Embassy's, led by the Tuffourhene, Nana Baah Odidwour Kokroko III, and the President of the Queen Mothers Association, Nana Ama Serwaa Bonsu I, who will visit Cuba in 2008.
