During the protest, the trade union representatives denounced the aggressions of the United States and acknowledged the resistance of the Cuban people in the face of decades of embargoes, blockades, and economic attacks, which have sought to subdue the nation and have generated nothing but poverty, oppression, and hardships for the population.

In the friendly meeting, the Grenadian leader welcomed the Cuban representative and wished her success in her new role. Both sides acknowledged the positive state of political and cooperative relations and reviewed the status of agreements signed in recent years.
