Ambassador exchanges with Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Oslo, November 10, 2021. Continuing the activities organized as part of the accreditation process and presentation to the Norwegian authorities, Ambassador Maité Rivero Torres was received by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Tore Hattrem.
In an atmosphere of cordiality, both expressed the will to work together to strengthen bilateral relations.
The Secretary General wished the Ambassador success in the fulfillment of her duties and assured her that she could count on his personal support and that one of the Foreign Ministry. (Embacuba Noruega)
Cuban Ambassador presents the copy of the Letter of Credence
Oslo, November 8, 2021. This Monday afternoon, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Maité Rivero Torres delivered to the Director General and Chief of Protocol, Ms. Tone Allers, the Copy of the Letter of Credence that accredits her as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Kingdom from Norway.

Event to honor Ché Guevara in Norway
Oslo, Norway.- In an emotional ceremony held in this city, tribute was paid to Ernesto Ché Guevara, on the 54th anniversary of his death.
The event was also dedicated to the Day of Indigenous Resistance.
In his remarks, the Charge d'Affaires a.i. from Cuba, Mario Alzugaray, highlighted the legacy of Ché Guevara, precisely because of his ideas in the fight against oppression and in favor of social justice, key demands in the struggle of indigenous peoples.
