Pakistan's opposition to the blockade is on the rise.

Islamabad, 1 May 2021. Ramzan Mughal, President of the Pakistan-Cuba Social Forum, ratified his country's solidarity and firm rejection of the US blockade, while speaking on the panel of the Virtual Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba organised by the Cuban Workers' Central and the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP).

"In these times of hardship and health crisis, the blockade and all sanctions against Cuba must be lifted," said Mughal in his remarks, which have been reproduced by several local media on this International Workers' Day.

In October 2005, when the first group of Cuban doctors from the Henry Reeve Brigade arrived in Pakistan to help the victims of the powerful earthquake in Kashmir, Jamal Nasir Malik and Sohaib Haider were two teenagers who dreamed of studying medicine; Muhammad Ramzan Mughal, a young photojournalist from Islamabad; and Attshan Ali Abbasi, a twelve-year-old boy who served as a translator for those strangers in white coats who arrived in his village loaded with medicine and hope.

Monrovia, October 8, 2020 - Much loved and respected in this West African country is Commander Ernesto Che Guevara, who for Liberians is an example of humanism, internationalism, sacrifice.

Today, 53 years after his assassination, the friends of solidarity in Liberia remember him as the creator of voluntary work, the man who broke down borders, the example of the struggle for the liberation of the peoples submerged in imperialism.

Liberia participated in the Virtual Forum dedicated to the 94th Birthday of the Commander in Chief.

Monrovia, August 12, 2020 - Young Liberians joined the staff of the Cuban Embassy in Liberia to participate in the virtual forum of young graduates in Cuba dedicated to the Commander in Chief's 94th birthday.

Organized by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), the event had excellent interventions of young people from Ghana, Mozambique, Nigeria, Palestine, among others, who dedicated their words of gratitude to the leader of the Cuban Revolution.
