Banjul, May 13, 2017. Members of the Gambia-Cuba Friendship Association and the José Martí Association of Graduates in Cuba met on Saturday May 13 at the island's diplomatic mission to once again express their support to the Cuban Revolution.

Amongst those who spoke, the president of the Gambia-Cuba Friendship Association, Mr. Modou P. Grant, highlighted the support of the Gambian solidarity movement for all the battles fought by the Cuban people, especially the fight against the blockade and more recently for the liberation of the Cuban Five.

India, 11h May 2017. The Indian Society for Cultural Cooperation and Friendship (ISCUF) organized a well attended meeting in Vijayawada the capital city of Andhra Pradesh on last 06th of May on Solidarity with CUBA and to support the MANILA Declaration Adopted by the ASIA-PACIFIC REGIONAL CONFERENCE on Solidarity with CUBA held on 8-9th April, in Manila city of Philippines.

Copenhagen- The International Day of Mother Earth "Pachamama" was celebrated on April 22nd in Copenhagen between traditional ceremonies, speeches and cultural performances of indigenous people. The Ambassadors of Bolivia, Venezuela and Cuba to Denmark attended to the celebration, where they strongly called for global solidarity and unity to save humanity.

Copenhagen- The Danish-Cuban Friendship Association, in its annual Assembly held on Saturday, March 25, paid tribute to Fidel Castro, the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution. Its members also reaffirmed their solidarity with Cuba and their commitment to continue advocating for the lifting of the unfair blockade imposed to the Island. The plenary also approved a statement highlighting the Cuban government's offer of a thousand scholarships to study medicine to the Colombian government and FARC-EP, as a contribution to the peace process in Colombia.
