Representation of the Association of South African Graduates in Cuba discuss the Plan for 2018
On Sunday, January 28, 2018, after the tribute paid to the National Hero of the Republic of Cuba, José Martí, a meeting was held at the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in South Africa with a representation of the Association of South African Graduates in Cuba.
The meeting was conducive to an analysis of the work of the Association and to organize the plan of activities for 2018, that will be carried out together with the Embassy of Cuba in the country.

Today is a special day. The 160th Anniversary of the birth of José Martí, our National Hero is celebrated.

To celebrate the 165th Anniversary of the Birth of the Cuban Apostle, José Martí, the staff of the Embassy of Cuba in South Africa, a representation of the collaborations in the area of Health, Education, Hydraulic Resources, UNECA, the Graduates in Cuba and the Cubans Residents in the country, we will meet this Sunday, January 28, at the Headquarters of the Cuban Embassy. The children who will accompany us will plant a tree in honor of the most universal of all Cubans.
Caribbean Pan-African leaders declare Trump 'persona non-grata'
The leaders said that Trump made himself unwelcome with his vulgar insults against Haiti and African countries, saying that they likely speak for the entire African Diaspora.

Ambassador of Cuba presented its credentials to the President of the Republic of South Africa
Ambassador of Cuba, Rodolfo Benítez Verson formally presented its credentials to the President of the Republic of South Africa H.E. Jacob Zuma.
In his speach the amabassador expressed his commimnment to serving Cuba and South Africa with dignity and working tirelessly to further strengthen the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation between the two Governments and peoples. He also expressed his duty to be true to the legacy of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz and Nelson Mandela, the leaders of the two countries, as we mark Madiba’s 100th birthday this year.
