Ambassador of Cuba visits, exhibition dedicated to Palestinian women

Colombo, March 7, 2024. The Cuban ambassador to Sri Lanka Andrés Marcelo Garrido and the first secretary, Maribel Duarte González, visited the headquarters of the Palestinian embassy in Colombo, where, on the occasion of the celebration this March 8 On International Women's Day, is presenting  the exhibition, No Free Woman without a free homeland",  which shows solidarity with Palestinian women, experiencing human isolation, years of blockade, starving life due to the Israeli genocidal war, filed nowhere is safe.

Colombo, January 20, 2024. Juan Carlos Marsán Aguilera, Vice Head of the Department of International Relations of the Central Committee of the Party, spoke on behalf of the Communist Party of Cuba in the Web seminar, Lenin, 100 years later, which was organized and coordinated by the Communist Party of Sri Lanka and was developed via web with the participation of China, Vietnam, Cuba, India, South Africa, Nepal and Russia.

Sri Lanka-Cuba Friendship Association celebrates activity for the 65th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution.

The Sri Lanka-Cuba Friendship Association held a tribute activity for the 65th Anniversary of the Cuban Revolution, which we commemorated last January 1st.
At the event, Honorale Dr. Susil Premajayantha, member of Parliament, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Friendship Association, in his words referred to the historical relations between the two countries and the cooperation they have always received from Cuba.
