Association of Graduates in Cuba of Sri Lanka pays tribute to the Commander in Chief

SRI LANKA, November 26, 2017. - The Association of Graduates in Cuba of Sri Lanka paid tribute to the Commander in Chief on the first anniversary of his physical disappearance. After listening to the notes of the national anthems of Cuba and Sri Lanka, a minute of silence was observed and a wreath was held next to the statue of Fidel, prepared by art students of the University of Colombo, and donated to the Embassy of Cuba by the Association of Graduates.

Homage to Fidel in Sri Lanka

SRI LANKA, November 23, 2017. - In ceremony held at the Sausiripaya Auditorium of Colombo, the Sri Lanka – Cuba Friendship Association paid deserved tribute to the Commander in Chief of the Cuban Revolution, on the first anniversary of his demise. On this occasion, the figure of the Leader of the Cuban Revolution was highlighted as an example of dignity and anti-imperialist thinking.

Tribute to Fidel in Sri Lanka

SRI LANKA, November 19, 2017.- Sponsored by the National Committee for Solidarity with Cuba of Sri Lanka, a seminar was held on Fidel's thought on "Sustainable Development, Peace and Disarmament", on the occasion of the first anniversary of the demise of the Commander in Chief.

The event was chaired by the distinguished journalist and university professor Prasanna Cooray and counted with the participation of the representatives of the organizations of solidarity with Cuba of Sri Lanka.

Minister of Health of Sri Lanka receives delegation from Labiofam

SRI LANKA, November 9, 2017. - The Honorable Dr. Rajitha Senarathne, Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine of Sri Lanka, exchanged extensively with the Labiofam delegation that visits the island, integrated by Eng. Alejandro González Torres and Dr. Alfredo Vera Estrada.
