Cuban resident in SVG participates in the I Forum of Cubans Living Abroad linked to the health sector.

Kingstown, 23 April 2025. The Cuban resident in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Juan Carlos González Dalmau (BA in Biological Sciences), participated virtually in the I Forum of Cubans Living Abroad linked to the health sector, which was carried out within the framework of the V International Convention Cuba Salud 2025.

The event, organized in a hybrid format, face-to-face and virtual, by the Ministry of Health (MINSAP) jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba (MINREX), was a space for participants to exchange on issues related to the improvement of the national health system in Cuba.

Kingstown, April 22, 2025 - The Minister of Health, Environment and Welfare of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Honourable St. Clair "Jimmy" Prince, travelled to Cuba to participate in the V International Convention Cuba Salud 2025, which is being held at the Palacio de Convenciones of Havana from 21 to 25 of this month.

This important event brings together more than 5,000 professionals, managers and experts from over 80 countries to exchange ideas on the main challenges of today’s global health, whose greatest objective is to ensure access to equity and quality in health care for all human beings.

The presence of Minister Prince at this event also demonstrates the great importance that Saint Vincent and the Grenadines attaches to the bilateral medical cooperation between the two countries, which was officially launched in 2001 and gradually expanded in the following years

Kingstown, April 16, 2025 - The Cuban ambassador to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry, visited the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Consummer Affairs of this country, where he was received by the permanent secretary (PS) of this institution, Ms. Sandy Peters-Phillips and the Director of Foreign Trade, Ms. Okolo John-Patrick.

The productive exchange aimed at exploring opportunities to boost trade and business between the two countries, whose relations have traditionally been focused on cooperation projects.

Presentation on Cuba at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic School.

Kingstown, April 14, 2025 - Ninety sixth graders from the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic School of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines received a comprehensive presentation on Cuba by the Cuban Ambassador to this country, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry.

The students of this prestigious school learned about the history, culture, sports, religion, gastronomy, lifestyle and some traditions of Cuba, while asking numerous questions and comments that contributed to enrich the debate.

The ambassador offered elements about José Martí, National Hero of Cuba and his book dedicated to children "The Golden Age"; he spoke about the legacy of Fidel Castro, historical leader of the Cuban Revolution

Fraternal meeting of Cubans held in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Kingstown, 13 April 2025. A large representation of Cubans met on a beach near the headquarters of the Embassy of Cuba in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, to share good moments and to talk about Cuba.

Among the participants in the beautiful activity were a lot of children, teenagers and young Cubans, who were able to practice various sports and to dance to the rhythm of Cuban music.

It was a pleasant evening of fraternization, which allowed us to continue strengthening the links of our mission with our fellow Cubans
