July 2, 2026. - Cuba’s ambassador to Canada, Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz, held a meeting with Mark Hancock, president of the Canadian Union of Public Employees.
During the meeting, they discussed the effects of the U.S. embargo against Cuba, particularly the new executive orders issued by the U.S. administration that intensify the collective punishment to which the U.S. has subjected the Cuban people.
On June 30, Ambassador Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz denounced the tightening of the U.S. economic blockade against Cuba and the recent measures adopted by Washington, which, he said, are intended to deepen the humanitarian crisis on the island and further isolate it internationally. At the same time, he reiterated Cuba's willingness to engage in dialogue with the United States, provided it is conducted on the basis of equality and with full respect for Cuba's sovereignty.
Toronto, June 26, 2026 – The Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto, together with the Cuban Tourist Office in the city, participated in the media launch of the Caribbean Canadian Investment Summit and Trade Forum. The event brought together government officials, diplomats, business leaders and media representatives to officially unveil this important platform aimed at strengthening trade, investment and economic cooperation between Canada and the countries of the Caribbean.

Mazza has maintained a close, enduring relationship with Cuba for more than 20 years, earning official recognition for his work in preserving, teaching, and promoting the country's musical rhythms and cultural heritage.
Ottawa, June 18, 2026 – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Josefina Vidal Ferreiro led a Cuban government delegation on a working visit to Ottawa from June 15 to 17. During the visit, she held meetings with officials from Global Affairs Canada, members of Parliament, and representatives of the Canadian business sector and other economic entities.
The Consul General of Cuba in Montreal, Yamari Pérez Viera, paid a working visit to Quebec, where she met with the highest authorities of the Canadian province. The Cuban diplomat greeted Premier Christine Fréchette on the occasion of Quebec’s National Day.
On June 6 and 7, the 12th Biennial Convention of the Canadian Network on Cuba (CNC) was held in the city of Toronto. Representatives from more than 20 solidarity organizations that are members of the CNC attended, along with invited friends from other organizations.
Toronto, June 2, 2026. The Faculty of Natural Sciences at York University hosted the conference “Solidarity Without Borders,” an event dedicated to Cuba and, in particular, to the achievements of its National Health System. The activity brought together professors, students, members of the Cuban community residing in Toronto, and representatives from various sectors of Canadian society.
Solidarity with Cuba was on full display in Montreal.
United by their love and solidarity for Cuba, various organizations, solidarity groups, and Cuban residents gathered in the Canadian city of Montreal to welcome Cuba’s new Consul General, Yamari Pérez, and reaffirm their support for the Cuban Revolution.
Members of the Quebec-Cuba Solidarity Roundtable and Cuban residents in Montreal called this Sunday for the lifting of the economic, financial, and commercial blockade imposed by the United States more than six decades ago.
The demonstrators gathered peacefully, as they do on the last Sunday of every month, in front of the U.S. Consulate in Montreal, carrying Cuban flags and signs expressing support for the Caribbean nation.
They also demanded an end to Washington’s escalating aggression and forcefully declared: “No to war against Cuba!”
