Cuba and Thailand Agree on Strengthening Bilateral Ties

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, and the Permanent Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Busadee Santipitaks, chaired this Friday the Second Round of Political Consultations between the foreign ministries of both countries.

During the exchange, the good state of bilateral relations was confirmed in the year of the 65th anniversary of their establishment and the will of both parties to continue consolidating dialogue and diversify cooperation in areas of common interest was ratified.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba reiterates its deep concern about the escalation of violence between Israel and Palestine, a consequence of decades of Israeli practices of illegal occupation and colonization, in flagrant violation of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people in their own territory. , as well as the long-standing disrespect for the Purposes and Principles of the Charter of the United Nations and International Law, including numerous relevant UN resolutions.
