Cuban Culture Under Siege by Fascist Hatred

In the last few days, prestigious Cuban artists and intellectuals have been the targets of aggression, attacks, instigated and perpetrated by elements of the transnational extreme right wing, at events in certain European countries. The most recent examples have been the reprehensible attacks, with impunity, on the Buena Fe duo in certain settings in Spain and the shameful revocation of the distinguished writer Nancy Morejón’s appointment as Honorary Chair of the Paris Poetry Market in France.

Cuban Ambassador Received the Ambassador of South Africa.

Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge received Mr. Darkey Africa, Ambassador of South Africa in Thailand, at the Cuban Embassy.

The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere. The South African Ambassador recalled the brotherly relations between Fidel Castro and Nelson Mandela and the collaboration program signed by both leaders.

Since 1996 South Africa has been a beneficiary of Cuban medical internationalism.

Meeting of the Cuban Ambassador and PTT Executives

Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge received Mr. Nat Ativitavas and Mr. Vorakan Burapatana, Executive Director and Head of Technology and Innovation respectively, of Innobic Asia, Limited Company, a subsidiary of the Petroleum Authority of Thailand (PTT).

During the meeting at the Cuban Embassy in Thailand, the participants exchanged about the potential for cooperation in different sectors. Both parties ratified the interest in strengthening economic-commercial relations between Cuba and Thailand.

Meeting of the Cuban and Egyptian Ambassadors in Thailand

Mr. Moustapha El Kouny, Egyptian ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand and Dean of African Ambassadors in this country, received the Cuban Ambassador Mr. Pedro Pablo San Jorge at his headquarters.

During the friendly meeting, the Egyptian Ambassador recalled his adolescence in Cuba accompanying his father, who was ambassador in Havana during the 70s. He also expressed his admiration for Fidel, Raúl and the Cuban people.
