FITCUBA 2023: Culture and Heritage
The International Tourism Fair is the most significant professional event that the Cuban tourism industry develops every year.
The event website highlights that this year FitCuba 2023 will be held from the 1st. to May 5 in Havana, a city that holds the status of Wonder City of the modern world title granted in 2016 by the Swiss foundation New7Wonders.
Its Urban Historic Center, in an excellent state of conservation, is part of the Cultural Heritage of Humanity, since 1982.
Meeting of the Ambassadors of Cuba and Guatemala in Bangkok
Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge held a cordial meeting with the Ambassador of Guatemala in Thailand Mr. Carlos Jiménes.
Mr. Jiménes welcomed the Cuban Ambassador and thanked on behalf of his country for the Cuban medical collaboration in Guatemala.
Cuban Ambassador Met Executives of Important Thai Hotel Group DUSIT INTERNATIONAL
Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodríguez met in Bangkok with the vice president and executives of the important Thai hotel group DUSIT INTERNATIONAL.
The businessmen showed the ambassador his interest in the possibility of cooperation with Cuba in the tourism sector.
Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodríguez Presented the Style Copies
The new Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodríguez presented the Style Copies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. The Ambassador was received by the Director of the Protocol Department Mr. Nattapong Lathapipat.
During the cordial meeting, the Ambassador expressed his desire to continue strengthening ties with the Kingdom of Thailand, highlighting the celebration in May of this year 2023 of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both countries.
Cuban president denounces US interference at Celac Summit
Buenos Aires, January 24, 2023.- The United States persists in its efforts to divide us, stigmatize us and subordinate us to its interests, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel denounced on Tuesday at the 7th Celac Summit in Argentina.
Speaking before delegations from 33 countries from the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), the Cuban president warned about the dangerous escalation of actions that seek to perpetuate imperialist hegemonism, threaten multilateralism and peace in the region, 200 years after the Monroe Doctrine was proclaimed.
