Meeting of the Cuban and Egyptian Ambassadors in Thailand

Mr. Moustapha El Kouny, Egyptian ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand and Dean of African Ambassadors in this country, received the Cuban Ambassador Mr. Pedro Pablo San Jorge at his headquarters.

During the friendly meeting, the Egyptian Ambassador recalled his adolescence in Cuba accompanying his father, who was ambassador in Havana during the 70s. He also expressed his admiration for Fidel, Raúl and the Cuban people.

Congratulatory Message to Bruno Rodríguez from the Foreign Minister of Thailand

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Mr Don Pramudwinai  sent a Congratulation message to Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla for his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, expressing both countries will continue developing bi-multilateral cooperation.

The letter was sent in the context of the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the governments of Cuba and Thailand. 

Russian Ambassador in Thailand Received the Cuban Ambassador

Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge held an interesting and friendly meeting with Evgeny Tomikhin, Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Thailand.

Both Ambassadors exchanged on issues of common interest, recognizing the excellent bilateral relations.

Ambassador San Jorge congratulated the Russian Ambassador on the occasion to Victory Day.

Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge was received by H.E. Itzel Karina Chen Chan, Ambassador of the Republic of Panama in Thailand.
Both Ambassadors discussed issues of mutual interest and explored the potential possibilities of both countries to strengthen cooperation, in order to increase the presence of the Latin American Region in Thailand.

Cuba and Thailand, 65 Aniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations.

On May 15, 2023, the governments of the Republic of Cuba and the Kingdom of Thailand celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Both nations have maintained historical ties of friendship and fruitful cooperation and have reiterated their will and political decision to expand them.

Thailand is located in Southeast Asia. Its capital and most populous city is Bangkok, the center of political, commercial and industrial activity.
