Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodríguez held a fruitful meeting with Gita Sabharwal, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Thailand. Cooperation possibilities were evaluated in prioritized sectors in the Cooperation Frameworks of both countries with the UN, especially triangular cooperation.

The meeting was held in the context of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations and both leaders highlighted the positive state of bilateral ties.

A Delegation from the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) visits Cuba
A delegation from the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), chaired by its Director General, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh will be in Cuba from August, 28 to 31, fulfilling an invitation from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment (MINCEX).
During the visit, the Thai delegation will explore possibilities for cooperation in sectors such as public health, tourism, renewable energy, biotechnology, science and technology, among others.

The eighth TICA Connect event was themed "Enhancing International Development Cooperation for a Sustainable Future" and was chaired by His Excellency Mr. Sarun Chareonsuwan, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, and was attended by members from the diplomatic corps and international organizations based in Bangkok, academia, university students, awardees of TICA scholarships and the media.
