Cuban Ambassador Attended the Reception for Brazil's Independence Day
Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodríguez attended the reception for Brazil's Independence Day, where he was received by the Brazilian Ambassador in Bangkok Mr. Jose Borges dos Santos Junior and his wife.
The Independence of Brazil was proclaimed on September 7, 1822, through the so-called "Cry of Ipiranga", which took place on the outskirts of São Paulo.
Vice Prime Minister of Cuba, Ricardo Cabrisas, Receives the Director General of the Thai International Cooperation Agency
The Deputy Prime Minister of Cuba, Ricardo Cabrisas, received today the general director of the Thai International Cooperation Agency, Ureerat Chareontoh, who is on a working visit to the country.
The meeting was held in the context of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations and both leaders highlighted the positive state of bilateral ties.
A Delegation from the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) visits Cuba
A delegation from the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), chaired by its Director General, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh will be in Cuba from August, 28 to 31, fulfilling an invitation from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment (MINCEX).
During the visit, the Thai delegation will explore possibilities for cooperation in sectors such as public health, tourism, renewable energy, biotechnology, science and technology, among others.
