Minister of Education of Rwanda hosts the Ambassador of Cuba
Kigali. On January 26, the Honorable Dr. Valentine UWAMARIYA, Minister of Education of the Republic of Rwanda received the Ambassador of Cuba Tania Perez Xiques.
The Cuban diplomat recognized the efforts and results obtained in Rwanda in educational matters and the importance she attaches to Rwanda's participation in the meeting of Ministers of Education of the G-77 plus China convened by Cuba in its capacity as President of that multilateral group.

The Ambassador of Cuba was received by the president of the Lower House of the Parliament of Rwanda.
Kigali. The Honorable MUKOBALISA Donatille, president of the Lower House of the Parliament of Rwanda, received Tania Perez Xiques, Ambassador of Cuba in that nation, on the afternoon of January 25.
Giving continuity to the virtual meeting held in July 2022, the Cuban diplomat delivered a letter from Esteban Lazo, president of the National Assembly of Popular Power of Cuba that ratifies the will and commitment to strengthen parliamentary relations between both nations.
Meeting of the Ambassador of Cuba with the Minister of Emergency Management of Rwanda
Kigali. On January 25, the Cuban Ambassador Tania Perez Xiques was received by the Honorable KAYISERE Marie Solange, Minister of Emergency Management of the Republic of Rwanda with the purpose of conveying the invitation to the event XI International Congress on Disasters to be held in Cuba in June 2023.
The exchange made it possible to point out the experiences and challenges of both countries in disaster management, and particularly the bilateral cooperation projects developed by Cuba mainly with Caribbean countries.
Ruly parties of Cuba and Rwanda advocate the strengthening of their bilateral relations
Kigali. After virtual exchanges held during the year 2022, the Honorable Francois Ngarambe, Secretary General of the Rwandan Patriotic Front, the ruly party of that African nation, received the Ambassador of Cuba Tania Perez Xiques at the organization's headquarters.
The Cuban diplomat ratified the importance the Communist Party of Cuba attaches to the strengthening of bilateral relations with its Rwandan counterpart and conveyed interest in continuing the virtual meeting held at the level of the heads of International Relations of both organizations.
