Cuban ambassador visits the Uganda Institute of Management.
Kampala. On the morning of November 29, Tania Perez Xiques, Ambassador of Cuba visits the Uganda Management Institute where she was hosted by Dr. James Luvonga Nkata, Director General of the institution and members of his management team.
The meeting is part of the actions carried out to promote academic exchange between the Higher Institute of International Relations and similar institutions in the African nation.
Uganda and Cuba advocate strengthening bilateral sports cooperation
Kampala. On the morning of November 18, Tania Perez Xiques, Ambassador of Cuba paid a courtesy call to the Honorable Peter Odwang, Minister of State of the Ministry of Education and Sports of Uganda.
At the meeting, they evaluated the history of bilateral sports cooperation and agreed on new actions to renew relations between the two countries in this area.
Cuba and Rwanda discussed bilateral economic-commercial relations at FIHAV 2022.
Havana. Within the framework of the International Fair of Havana, FIHAV 2022, Antonio Luis Carricarte, President of the Chambers of Commerce of Cuba and his Rwandan counterpart Mr. Francois Twagirumikiza signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Joint Action Plan.
During the bilateral meeting they discussed the importance of contributing to these institutions, with the promotion of economic-commercial relations between both countries.
Chambers of Commerce of Cuba and Uganda for promoting bilateral economic-commercial relations
Havana. Within the framework of the International Fair of Havana, FIHAV 2022, Mrs. Olive Kigongo and Antonio Luis Carricarte, Presidents of the Chambers of Commerce of Uganda and Cuba, respectively, signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Joint Action Plan.
During the bilateral meeting they discussed the importance of contributing to these institutions, with the promotion of economic-commercial relations between both nations, mainly in the field of medical services and the fight against communicable diseases such as malaria.
Permanent Secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Uganda heads a delegation on a visit to Cuba.
Havana. Mr. Vicent Bagiire, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uganda led the Ugandan delegation that visited Cuba between November 7 and 12 to hold an exchange on the Cuban experience in the presidency of the Non-Aligned Movement and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment of Cuba, as well as carry out bilateral political consultations.
During their stay in Cuba they were received by Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba.
