Permanent Secretary of Foreign Affairs receives Cuban Ambassador

Uganda, October 26, 2018.- Ambassador Patrick Mugoya, permanent secretary of Foreign Affairs, received the Cuban Ambassador Antonio Luis Pubillones Izaguirre at the Ugandan Foreign Ministry's headquarters on Friday morning.

During the cordial meeting, both diplomats expressed their satisfaction for the good state of the bilateral relations and the historical bonds of friendship and solidarity between both countries. They also reiterated the will of their respective governments and peoples to continue working for their further strengthening.

Cuba and Rwanda for invigorating their economic-commercial ties.

Rwanda, October 23, 2018.- The Cuban ambassador to Rwanda Antonio Luis Pubillones Izaguirre visited the headquarters of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and met  the Permanent Secretary Michel Sebera. During the meeting, Pubillones and Sebera reviewed the current state of economic-trade links between the two countries and addressed other issues of bilateral relations.

Cuba and Rwanda examining prospects for strengthening bilateral relations

Rwanda, October 23, 2018.- The new permanent secretary of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Urujeni Bakuramutsa, received the Cuban Ambassador in the East African country, Antonio Luis Pubillones Izaguirre, at the Foreign Ministry's headquarters this morning. Within the framework of a friendly and cordial meeting, both diplomats examined the current state of bilateral relations, as well as their prospects for strengthening them, and showed the interest of their respective governments to work forward to realize their wishes.

Cuba and Rwanda evaluate cooperation possibilities in health

Rwanda, October 24, 2018.- During a meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health of Rwanda, at six o'clock yesterday afternoon, Cuban Ambassador in that country Antonio Luis Pubillones Izaguirre and the Minister of State for Public Health and Primary Care, Dr. Patrick Ndimubanzi, evaluated the perspectives of cooperation in health between their respective countries.

The Minister of State praised the high quality of the health system of the island and expressed his interest in having in his country the services of Cuban professionals in the field in the near future.
